Medical

Candidates will only be found acceptable once they have completed the industry recognised Seafarer Medical Examination. For prospective Deck Cadets, this will include a colour and form vision test to demonstrate the absence of any colour deficiency.

This is usually arranged after you have been interviewed and provisionally accepted for a cadetship. However, if you have an underlying medical condition that you believe may cause a problem, please contact us and we will advise you on the best course of action.
